A 501(c)(3) Since 3/2015 The goals of the coalition are to support the community at all levels, as the drug addiction epidemic knows no age limit.
To achieve these goals, EB’s Hope will offer Help in the way of keeping a current listing of resources and support systems; Will work to be a constant presence in the community implementing strategic forms of Outreach; Will design a framework for Prevention; Will increase awareness regarding the risk and liabilities of drug use and abuse by expanding youth Education programs, as well as working to decrease ease of access to substances through partnerships with law enforcement and elected officials. Additionally, we will work to modify public policies to positively recognize those who support unification of a drug free community and advocate for increase in youth and adult treatment options in Plymouth County.
The Brockton Area Prevention Collaborative (BAPC)
The Brockton Area Prevention Collaborative brings together the communities of Brockton, Bridgewater, East Bridgewater, Hanson, Raynham, Rockland and Whitman. The Collaborative educates young people with accurate information and tools to cope with life’s challenges, and to help them understand the harmful effects of drugs and alcohol. We connect individuals and families with the resources they need to become better informed. And we work with leaders in the community to build a system of support in every neighborhood.

The Brockton Mayor’s Opioid Overdose Prevention Coalition (BMOOPC)
In 2008, the City of Brockton in partnership with High Point Treatment Center was awarded the MassCALL2 grant with the primary objective of saving the lives of those in the community of Brockton suffering from opiate addiction and to create awareness about opioid overdose prevention.

Today, the coalition has expanded to become a part of the Brockton Area Prevention Collaborative, encompassing the towns of Bridgewater, Brockton, East Bridgewater, Hanson, Rockland, and Whitman as a regional approach. The BAPC was the first funded cluster on the south shore to address the issue of opioid abuse and overdose. Follow BMOOPC on Facebook

Rockland C.A.R.E.S.’ (Community. Awareness. Resources. Education. Support.) mission is to provide information and support for people and their families suffering from addiction.

Bridging L.I.V.E.S.
Bridging L.I.V.E.S. is the local substance use prevention coalition serving the towns of Bridgewater and Raynham. Our mission is to prevent and reduce substance use by increasing awareness, providing education and offering support within the community. Bridging L.I.V.E.S. is part of a larger regional substance use prevention collaborative, the Brockton Area Prevention Collaborative.

Whitman-Hanson WILL
Whitman-Hanson WILL is part of a regional collaborative, the Brockton Area Prevention Collaborative. Whitman Hanson WILL’s mission is to save lives from substance use and prevent the damage it can do to individuals, families, and the local community.
